1. What is Kobido facial massage?

Kobido is a traditional Japanese facial massage that works deeply with facial muscles, fascia and lymphatic flow.
It combines lifting techniques, drainage and relaxation to naturally improve skin tone, reduce tension and restore a healthy glow.

2. Is Kobido just relaxing or does it really lift the face?

Both — but its real power is in muscle work.
Kobido stimulates facial muscles, improves circulation and supports lymphatic drainage, which can visibly lift, sculpt and soften features over time.

Think of it as a natural workout for your face.

3. Who is Kobido best for?

Kobido is ideal if you:

  • work long hours at a computer

  • feel tension in your jaw, forehead or neck

  • notice puffiness or lack of glow

  • want natural anti-aging without invasive treatments

It’s especially beneficial for busy professionals needing both results and deep relaxation.

4. How often should I have Kobido?

For best results:

  • 1x per week (intensive phase)

  • or 1–2x per month (maintenance)

Consistency matters — your face responds to repetition, just like the body.

5. Will I see results after one session?

Yes — most clients notice:

  • more relaxed facial features

  • improved glow

  • reduced puffiness

However, deeper lifting and sculpting results build with regular sessions.

6. Is Kobido painful?

No, but it can feel intense in a good way.
Some techniques are deeper (especially around tension areas like jaw or forehead), but everything is adapted to your comfort.

7. What makes Kobido different from a regular facial?

Kobido is not a typical spa facial.

It focuses on:

  • muscle lifting

  • fascia release

  • lymphatic drainage

There are no machines — only precise, skilled hand techniques.

8. Can Kobido help with jaw tension or headaches?

Yes — this is one of its strongest benefits.
It releases tension in the jaw, temples, neck and scalp, which can reduce discomfort caused by stress or long hours at the computer.

9. Do you offer treatments at home or in a studio?

Both options are available:

  • Mobile treatments within Canary Wharf (E14)

  • Private treatment room in Canary Wharf

You can choose your preferred option when booking.

10. Is Kobido suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes — Kobido is a natural, non-invasive treatment.
Pressure and techniques are always adjusted individually.

11. Are there any contraindications?

Yes. Kobido may not be suitable if you have:

  • active skin infections or inflammation

  • recent facial procedures (fillers, Botox, etc.)

  • certain medical conditions

Please read the full contraindications before booking.

12. What should I do after the treatment?

After Kobido:

  • drink water

  • avoid heavy makeup immediately after

  • allow your skin to rest

Your face continues to respond even hours after the session.

13. Why choose The Kobido Room?

Because this is not just a treatment — it’s a pause.

The experience is designed for women who:

  • live fast-paced lives

  • carry stress in their face and body

  • want natural, visible results

You leave not only looking better, but feeling lighter.

14. Is it worth booking regularly instead of doing massage at home?

Daily self-massage helps maintain results.

But Kobido goes deeper:

  • more precise

  • more intensive

  • works on deeper muscle layers

Daily touch maintains.
Kobido transforms.
